Greetings all,
Quick question regarding fortifications (specifically foxholes). If your fortification is HIP due to offmap entry of the enemy, and in concealment terrain, does it confer HIP status on any units occupying the HIP fortification?

Thanks ahead of time,

Bernie

Near as I can tell, no.
Any units given HIP by SSR could be set up HIP in HIP fortifications though.

A fortification that is HIP does NOT confer HIP status to any units occupying it.

You place your units on board, and place the Foxholes / pillboxes / whatever when an enemy unit is within 16 hexes and has LOS to the location.

Of course since this is ASL there is always an Exception and that is for Pillboxes.

See B30.7 - last sentence:
"....If a pillbox sets up hidden, so do its contents."
