Consider a unit on a Hillock.

F6.41 says it has LOS over its own Hillock and over the next Hillock, and past yet a 3rd Hillock (but in this case, only to units behind and "adjacent").

Then cites F6.43 as an EXC (A unit must be at least as high as the topmost height of an intervening hillock hex in order to have a LOS past that hillock hex to entrenched/emplaced units behind but "adjacent" to that hillock hex)

So, I can´t see why the big example about Hillocks in the Rulebook says that squad E (on a hillock) can't see squad AA (entrenched past a 3rd hillock). Squad A is as high as the topmost height of all intervening hillock hexes, so I think it has a LOS to that entrenched unit.

Sure I am missing something.

Please, can someone help?

It's the entrenchement

Just as an Entrenched Infantry can't see over, nor be seen over,
an adjacent wall, the entrenched Infatry can't see nor be seen behind the Hillock.

That's the kind of thing I'd like to find in the rules.

But after reading F6.43 and B9.21 (2nd Ed Rules: "an elevation advantage of at least a half-level over the Entrenchment does allow such LOS"), I'm still not sure why the Hillock example says squad E has no LOS to squad AA.
