Hello! My name is Alex. I'm from California.
I started playing guitar recently and I hope to find here some musicians who can help me. So what do you like out of the new production 6L6 tubes? I've read a lot of good reviews of the Winged C SED SV6L6GC , some say they are as they get even as good as the old production. Others mentioned as good are the new Tung-Sol 6L6 STR and 7581 sets. Some folks like the JJ tubes, I ran a set of the JJ 6V6 in my old 68 DR and they sounded very good. And there are still some NOS Phillips 6L6GB tubes around reasonable, I think these are about the same as a 5881? So what are you using and why, this would be in my newly aquired 74 Super Reverb.
