Heroscape

Great introduction for kids and the uninitiated. I haven't been interested in miniatures, but when I saw some friends of mine playing this in the local game store I thought I'd give it a try. The quality is good.

My daughter and I have spent many hours playing this. It's very simple and a great way to get younger children involved in the hobby so they grow up play the more challenging games. My daughter is now building a Wood Elves Army for Warhammer. It helps that she is also an artist.

I have heard about this and even seen it in the stores but have yet to see it polayed or tried it myself.

I first saw heroscape being played with two basic sets so the play area was large and the pieces were colorful. Pretty impressive.
