help restoring a user account

A friend e-mailed that he had tried to change his e-mail address.

I changed my e-mail address to my current one ([deleted]) and never got a confirmation e-mail. Once I do that the system does not allow me to post anything.

I sent gamesquad data via their contact us function and go no response.

I then changed my e-mail back to my old address, and nothing came.

Is there someone who can help get this account functioning again? I can provide the account name and new e-mail address privately.

Thank you for whatever you did. I happened to hit "resend" confirmation today and in seconds received the e-mail confirmation message. No idea what was wrong the other dozen times.
