I just want to said hello to you guys and see what's new in TACOPS Forum.

In two months ago, I started to play WINSPMBT, its pretty addictive to play & quite easy to play & win! (w/minimal casualties)

Few days ago, I start to pick up to play TACOPS 4 Solitaire again.

I'm getting good, but I don't know if I am that good against human opponent.

Team Ostle

Scenario time limit 40 minutes.

SITUATION:

Map 009.

Scenario time limit 40 minutes.

A USMC tank company reinforced with a rifle platoon (mech) must conduct
a mobile defense against an approaching OPFOR reinforced tank battalion.
OPFOR is currently located just off the eastern edge of map and is moving
southwest. US signals intelligence indicates that the OPFOR commander
has been ordered to pass through Objective A (the town in the lower left
corner of the map) and then to continue west.

MISSIONS:

USMC - Delay and attrit OPFOR. Prevent exit of at least 80 percent of
the enemy force across western edge of the map.

OPFOR - Penetrate US defense. Pass through Objective A and then exit at
least 20 percent of original force across western edge of the map.

Admin Note: OPFOR must have at least one ground unit in Objective A at
the end of a combat phase at some point during the game. The unit does
not have to remain in the town.

ORDER OF BATTLE:

US

2 x Tank Platoon
1 x HMMWV AT Section
1 x Rifle Platoon (Mech)

OPFOR

1 x Tank Battalion
1 x Motorized Rifle Company (BMP)

OFFMAP ARTILLERY AND AIR SUPPORT:

US

1 x 155mm Howitzer
3 x F16/F18
Fair chance of additional artillery or air support.

OPFOR

1 x 122mm Howitzer
1 x 152mm Howitzer
3 x MIG27
Fair chance of additional artillery or air support.

After Action Report: Yellow arrow/line is where one of my S2 officers believed that OPFOR's avenue of approach, will moving from northeast to southwest to Objective A. Red arrow/line is an actual OPFOR's avenue of approach.

Pink squares is our original "engagement zone"

With a change of plan, Blue Square is our new "engagement zone"

In 10 minutes. OPFOR lost more than 75 percentage of their strength, and make an effort to turn around and moving to southwest/west. As expected, ATGMV HMMWV AT (anti tank) TOW spotted remains of their force, and fired four - five TOWs. Once when they reached to 85 percentage, they, OPFOR, made a hasty withdraw from the engagement zone

Time Left: 22 minutes
Mission results:
Blue - Mission accomplished
Red - Mission failure
Red exit % - 0
Point results:

A CPX is a Command Post Exercise. A tactical exercise without troops. in TacOps, it is a live, intenet game with three or more players. Emphasise on live. a lot of fun. An MBX is a Mail Battle Execise. Done via email. I will leave the details to one who is more familiar with it.

We use IRC to communicate during the CPXs as it offers multiple channels. Download an ICR client program and join us Saturday.
