Made a quick test (bored at work

yes, this is one of the biggest frustrations with TOAW modern... helos should be able to be on carriers or amphibious...
in some scnerios one has to be very creative to allow amphibious landings..
- make helos INSIDE a land unit to be able to sea-transport it beyond the range of the helo
- make "islands" so that helos can base (very ugly, but can work, but against PO the PO can invade the island.. so... against human, make it a house rule
- use aircraft as attack helos (ugly)
etc. etc. very silly that one could not add a "helo carrier" in the ship definitions.. and I dont' know how to make that in the Bioed (make the helo icons possible to be based on carriers?)

Can you cheat by creating a mixed unit with an aircraft icon, a token carrier based ac, and a bunch of HHs?

Yeah thats what I did. Trying to represent the USMC/Navy Special Landing Force during Vietnam (that was a USN task group carrying a Marine battalion landing team and a HMM helo squadron)piero1971 said:

Yes but no more helicopter move, you must go from ACV to ACV of Air to air Base ( try it too with BioEd) and no question to move Airmobile units !!!Ben Turner said:
