If a unit would be subject to FFMO during the MPh due to the exception to Height Advantage in B10.31 (when the LOS crosses the same hexside crossed by the moving unit up the hill) would a broken unit be subject to interdiction for routing along the same path as well?

Yes, they would be interdicted. -- jim

By rule I would have to agree with Jim, however, if asked of Perry I wouldn't be as sure given the rule for routs from a Foxhole in OG. As it stands now without a further pontification from Perry that could potentially be to the contrary, I would proceed as Jim has indicated.

That’s what I was wondering about. Maybe rout is different as it is for foxholes.

Foxholes are explicitly different as described in the rules. Hills are not.
Further more, entry and exit into Foxholes are additional MP's you can spend to get into cover. There is no additional MP to spend here. There is no place else to go. -- jim
