It is a straight shot. The Hedge TEM does not apply if the Hedge hexside is the one being crossed.

The Hedge TEM would apply if the LOF crossed a Hedge hexside in the hex being entered, e.g. on the other side of the hex. ("... if crossed by the LOF on the way to the target hexside") ... not if the Hedge *is* the target hexside.

See the A8.15 EX [2nd Ed ASLRB, page A17] for an application of Wall TEM to a Snap Shot. (Unfortunately, there is no EX of an instance where the Wall/Hedge is the hexside crossed... )
