Hello, everyone. I came here hopefully to find some help on becoming acquainted with Advanced Squad Leader, but learned that this site is for so much more. Very interesting to learn.

Mostly I play solo computer war games since I have no one in my immediate circle that enjoys them much. I am a member of the American Civil War Game Club, which is a great bunch whose interest are obvious from the name of the group.

Just noticed that Rob's introduction kind of co-opted Black Falcon's introduction, unless Rob and Black Falcon are the same guy.

If not, also welcome to Black Falcon! I also play ACW games. Used to play miniature battles in my friend's garage, but that was over 30 years ago. Nowadays I keep up with the GCACW series of boardgames. Like ASL, those were originally printed by Avalon Hill, but were later saved from the void by MMP.

If Rob and Black Falcon are two different guys, maybe Randy can split this thread into two threads?
