Got my Deluxe packs yesterday thanks X

Best Anglo-Franco Production since the chunnel, certainly less cost over-run and better safety record then the Concorde!

Re: The LFT (Le Franc Tireur) Thread.

I received my Deluxe Pack 1 in the mail a few hours ago. Absolutely stunning! The large dossier it comes in is so befitting for its release. Everything that everyone has said about it is dead-on. Congrats to the team members responsible for this wonderful effort.

It would be a crying shame if none of my Cardboard Online opponents purchase this (wink, wink...nudge, nudge...elbow in the ribs...shin kick under the table).

Re: The LFT (Le Franc Tireur) Thread.

Got my Deluxe Pack last week. Just getting around to checking it out in detail.

I was a bit leery of the 3D-look boards, but seeing them in person they look great. They don't match the old style artwork, of course, but I'm getting used to it and like it quite a bit.

A couple of things I noticed:

There's a notable absence of hexside terrain. I see one cliff hexside but not a single hedge or wall on any of the boards. It gives the boards a more open feel.

The hex grid is not centered on the crease where the boards fold. The crease is off to one side of the center dots. As a consequence, when you have two stacked boards where one is flopped (the board IDs on opposite ends), there's a bit of an offset, about 1/4 inch. Seems like that might present a problem for a potential two-by-two map setup.

Re: The LFT (Le Franc Tireur) Thread.

Hi all

I think its the top contender for the best product this and last year :smoke:

It is just well done, well produced (I did not even notice that board edge thing), great scenarios (I just cant wait to play them!) :D

It has everything that makes it a fabulous product

That team has done ASL a great service and should be congratulated for producing the absolute "must buy" product

For the decade, This and only a few other products are the "must have" for the standard player!

What a way to bring back Deluxe - such a great product! :vsign:

Cheers

Rob :clown:

Well, probably when we will release our next product using a countersheet. Not yet sure about when though, since as you know we are all spread around the world and badly need to regroup a bit :)

Got mine yesterday. As is so often the case it is very difficult to judge graphics from on screen shots and I had my doubts before ordering - wow, in the flesh they are seriously good looking. Thanks Xavier and I'm looking forward to any new DL boards you do in the future. My vote would be to go for a winterised set.

Re: The LFT (Le Franc Tireur) Thread.

Received my Deluxe Pack #1 for Christmas.

+1 to Steve Swann, LFT and group (you know who you are ;) ) on reviving this theme. It was long overdue and very much appreciated. Great product.

I plan on rolling some dice on these boards in the coming weeks. I can't wait :)
