Did any of the ASL modules come with glider counters that could be used by any country like the wagon. bicycle, horses and motorbikes? Thanks for your help and info.

I thought for sure they would be in "Pegasus Bridge" and "A Bridge Too Far" modules.

No air drop scenarios that I recall in A Bridge Too Far....it's all about the city fight in Arnhem itself for the North end of the bridge that wuz too far....

Probably should have had some in PB, but there would be at most 3 (?) as that wuz all that got dropped around the bridge itself.

That makes sense. Also makes sense that gliders, parachutes, skis, night counters, etc would be included with Yanks because it originally had Chapter E. The ASLRB used to only come with A-D. J was in Streets of Fire (I think). K was in Paratrooper.

Germans have the gliders, for use as resupply (The Bloody Meadows scenario, I believe).
Gliders used by the Allies in three Western Front scenarios {AFAIK}:
1. Raff's Dilemma
2. Pegasus Bridge
3. A Belated Christmas
There are probably other glider involved scenarios out there.

None used in Raff's Dilemma but some used in:
ASL93 (A1) Tavorontis Bridge
ASL94 (A2) Bofors Bashing
ASL95 (A3) Decent Into Hell
ASL98 On Silent Wings
U23 Rehearsal For Crete
T15 The Akrotiri Peninsula

to name a few of the "officially published" scenarios.

Always liked Tavorontis Bridge. I think that was the first glider scenario we played, and we found the rules pretty streamlined compared to paradrops, of which we'd done a couple not long before. However, my good leader, 9-2?, 10-2? can't remember, got shot in the air or died on impact. Later, I played it against Jim Turpin at Avaloncon, got the Germans again, and again he died in the glider! :) I lost both games, but I still enjoy that scenario. Quick look at the Scenario Archive shows it hasn't held up great, but not terrible either. 36 to 27 from ROAR, 19 to 8 (and 1 draw) on the Archive. Favors the Germans in both cases (but not so much if your super-leader dies before taking counter form :)).

I like the ASL tradition of naming airborne scenarios with the ‘Operation’ moniker.
I’ve got a few ideas concerning the Russian Dneiper drop in ‘43 but can’t find the right ‘code name’ for the operation. Seems it was an embarrassment and Zhukov didn’t want to talk about it. If anybody knows the Russian code name for the Dneiper drop send me a line.
I’ve read David Glantz’s work on the topic and even he can’t figure it out.
