If you're hacked Turbine won't "reset" your characters or give you your stuff back but, by gosh if you're an idiot and delete your own characters they will ... for a profit.

Has a sibling, child, friend, pet or significant other ever “accidentally” deleted one of your characters? Have you ever deleted a character to make room for another, or because you had a really good time earlier in the evening and then regretted it later?
Well, we have good news for you! Turbine is happy to announce the availability of the Character Undelete Paid Service. This service will allow players to request that a previously deleted character be Undeleted. This process will return characters as they were at the time they were deleted, to the server they were deleted from, so if you “donated all your worldly goods to charity”, the items will still all be gone.
This service will cost $19.95 per character, and will be available for both DDO and LOTRO.
