Could also include "Bazooka Charlie". An L5 observation plane piloted by a FO Maj & former history teacher from Moline, IL equipped with with 6 underslung bazookas mounted on his wings. He's credited with at least 5 kills and once saved a unit from being overrun during the Arracourt Campaign by continueing to attack a German armored column keeping them at bey until the arrival of reinforcements.
