I think I finally have everything reorganized for GS Part 1

-30 scenarios ink on paper
-A large number of actions pencil on paper
As they develop with determine what gets cut or moved to Part 2.

Chapter H stuff in a good starting point but I do have to re-research as new info is out, I thinks some equipment might be missing, etc. I am doing this in small chunks.
Confirmed we should be in the neighborhood of 15 Final scenarios within a couple months.

Looks like this is shaping up to be another great product!

Anyone who might be interested in playtesting this project please contact me.
If you have a smaller five turn or so scenario, the Friday Night Crew might play it multiple times, simultaneously.

You could even watch your baby in several VASL windows.

There are a couple of scenarios that would fit that.

Send them to me and I'll see what I can do.
It will be in the New Year, taking a break for the holidays after this Friday.

This was my post about 2.5 years ago in the PzIVF1 Canister? thread:

"Normally I would not respond as I have not decided how to proceed as we develop.

The 75 L24 gun (type on the Stug75* and PzIV75*) did have a Canister round that contained 960 small steel balls. Appears the 75 on the PzIIIN which was slightly different did not have a Canister round. Note that the 75Ls for example would not be able to fire a Canister round due to having a muzzle brake.
What I have not found (at least yet) is anything that confirms a basic load of Canister for these vehicles.

Conversely, have found that many Russian tanks/guns had a basic load of Canister rounds, thus the C#s on various vehicles from BFP.

Generally everyone used Shrapnel/Canister rounds in WW1, but most abandoned them during WW2, or at least after the early war years as these were comparatively expensive to produce. The US and USSR are the exceptions."

Currently looking at Stug 75* C6 and PzIV 75* C5. Although without any MG I could see the Stug C7 in 1940

Good morning Chas.
As I am sure you are aware, many regular ASL players, like myself, are wondering what is the status for the upcoming ASL games for 2025. Would it be possible for you to give us some sort of time line for the next 6 months? thank you. Jon

MMP normally issues a production forecast for the year about February.

Forgive me, but what is the topic/theme for Gathering Storm? You've done the Poles and Finns....just wondering who is on tap to get a counter set?

I think Early War - some designs having been started when PiF was produced, concentrating on the Poles.

We are a design company that self publishes. We take our time to research, design, test, and edit thoroughly which is why we are unmatched by anyone. We do not attempt to produce a high volume of products or take many outside designs. Thus, we never have a "publication schedule".

I am flattered to hear the interest in what our production schedule is. I will not go into everything that is being worked on in some way and tell you some BS of this and that by such a year or date. A better question may be what is next. Gathering Storm and Peleliu are currently the two main projects and they will be released when ready. MC should be shipping later this month (hopefully I dont have to eat my words above) and so it will be some time before the next release. However, Gathering Storm could be quicker than normal because of where we are at and there is a point where I can cut it off and move whatever to Gathering Storm 2.

Take your time to get it right is what I am thinking. Poorly research and lack of any playtesting should be submitted to CH and have them re-release it about every nine months or so.

<shrug>Evidently a training issue.....more to the point, I tire of wading through innumerable that add precious little to any rational conversation and the detail you refer to is about 3/4 of the way down a page of comments.

<shrug> How will this product duplicate counters and documentation from CdG Rev 2?
