Game Not Responding

Wonderng if anyone else has this issue: I am playing TOAW3 ver 3,4,0,202 and whenever I finish my move and click End Turn the PC screen kinda locks up with a "Not Responding" message that prohibits me from seeing the combat resolutions that are occuring in the background. Anyone else have this problem...any solution?

Large games will do that - I played American Front, and the save routine would constantly lock up the game until the CPU finally managed to get it completed for the save and send. IIRC, putting on CAPSLOCK after the game starts, does speed it up a tad - it was a fix put in *unknown* fixes\patches ago.

Yes, Vista and Windows 7 will give the "Not Responding" message but the game is still working. You can safely ignore that message.
