Hi,

I like the look of this Scenario. Have never played it against a human opponent. Would like to give it a try. I'm new to the W.A.R.S. Ladder system and am trying to learn it.

I'm also new to PBEM and am participating in the TAOWIII Workshop.

Any body interested? I can, on average, 3 - 5 turns / week.

Thanks in advance.

P.S.- I hope this thread is in the right location? Should it be someplace else?

it's the good forum but you might get more replies in the general section.
I could give you a game but i'd rather use cow than toaw III since it seems the ea version that comes with toaw III doesn't work that well as it is now.

Hi,

What is CoW? I've only got TAOWIII.

When u say general section u mean the general section of the SZO Forum or the TAOW forum?

Thanks for your reply and your advice. :smoke:

CoW is the Father of TOAW III, it's TOAW - Century of Warfare, the game from which TOAW III is descended :)

They aren't compatible, so somebody with CoW cant play against somebody with TOAW III.

And you did well getting TOAW III.

You just have to wait a "little" bit until Mark puts EA working smoothly under TOAW III (because it's a very complex scenario - events list - and was perfected to previous version)

Other simpler scenarios can be played on TOAW III "without fear"...

Hi viridomaros,

shall we wait for an updated version of the scenario? Do you know what the current scenario has for problems?

Hi,

Viridamorus does not know what he is saying + he plays one turn each month.

play a game EA versus myself.

PM me, you won't regret it!

Just what has Viri said erroneously?
And, I, for one, have gotten more than one turn a month from him.

And, regarding EA lads, there seems to be a problem with the version after it has been converted to TOAW III, things like Poland's Army not withdrawing when they should and the Swedish Army withdrawing for no apparent reason.
I stopped playing at this point, so I don't know what else has been buggered up due to the conversion to TOAW III. Not a knock on TOAW III, I'm a fan, but there are problems when converting CoW scenarios to TOAW III.

I would stongly suggest that people hold off on playing EA in TOAW III until Matrix gets Mark his copy and he can take a look at just what has happened to his scenario when it was converted.
