In the attached image, imagine a cave counter in hex 25BB5 with its CA towards BB4. The counter is in a level four hex; units in the cave trace LOS as at level three.

LOS from BB5 to BB2 lies along a Continuous Slope, so I believe the craig hindrance applies. Do you agree?

LOS from BB5 to BB1 is not along a Continuous Slope. Does the craig hindrance apply?

I agree that the crag hinders LOS to BB2 for the reason stated by you. LOS to BB1 is not affected by the crag as it is on a different level from the cave and not on a continuous slope. This is one of the oddties of the cave rules.

I also agree that the crag hinders LOS to BB2 as it is a continuous slope.Refer to the example in G11.51.
