Just a clarification : does a unit check for straying only at the beginning of its MPh (as per E 1.53) or in each hex it is/enters during its MPh ?
I am NRBH, but straying at night is not only at the start of a unit's MPh; it can also occur when a unit moves from a staying exempt location (e.g. from a location adjacent to a road) to a location that is not exempt from straying.da priest said:So at start of movement in MPh only.
There is no requirment for this to be done at the start of that unit's MPh. The Straying DR is made the first time the conditions apply and is only done once for that unit's entire MPh. If you read through E1.53-1.532 you will find the same applies.G2.22 said:STRAYING: In a daytime scenario, a non-subterranean Infantry unit/stack that in its MPh is in an Interior dense-jungle hex () and wishes to move to a new hex must make a Movement DR (and hence possibly a Straying DR as well) unless it has already done so in its current MPh...
... and I understand you don't make another roll if these conditions apply afterwards during the MPh ?WaterRabbit said:If you start in an Interior Jungle/Bamboo hex then you make a Movement DR at the start of the move. However, if you don't start under these conditions, you don't make the roll until these conditions apply.
Play an Operation Watchtower CG and you will never forget this.WaterRabbit said:Right only one roll per MPh per unit/stack.
I second that. Both night and jungle. :clap:sgtono said:Play an Operation Watchtower CG and you will never forget this.
