While I am not 'ancient of days', I might be called 'getting long in the tooth'. I am familiar ( not personally thank you!) with Reverend Moon, but sometimes miss the subtle hints of 'I see what you did there' comments. What did I miss?

The Reverend Sun Myung Moon survived the Korean War to found the Unification Church. His death in 2012 somewhat undercut his claims to be the Messiah. The line from Star Wars was simply too juicy to resist.
