throwing in another voice of support for a N.A. based release. Especially a CG, the Battle of Gazala jumps immediately to my mind as a great potential product. Anyhow the Italians in Russia have been covered nicely... the English in western Europe have been covered pretty well through their major engagements. In NA there is real opportunity to use both of those nationalities to a greater extent. As others have noted, the setting can have a varied and tactically challenging nature due to it's unique terrain and associated ASL rules.

In an earlier post in the forum, Chas did note that we are working on Huertgen Forest CG. We of course will not speculate on dates/etc. but as Chas pointed out we are looking for serious playtesters for the CG portion of the Huertgen project...

If you're interested and have a reliable, regular partner, and can provide regular updates, please reach out to us...

Yes, we are working on several Campaign Games. I think once we get a good one under our belt and the system in place, future CGs will be developed more efficiently.

I also find it funny that guys are wanting to know our next release and they dont even have BFP 3 yet!:):) We plan to have 2 releases in 2010 and we will announce these at a future time when we are fully confident they will in fact be published IAW the planned timeline.

Does B & J count as one of those releases?

Also I don't suppose there is anyway to do a CG playtest via VASL is there?

Playtest for them. I've played about 8 scenario's recently of theirs that are not PTO many of which are close to finish and as such been solid games.

I think PTing improves your play as it helps focus the mind!!!!

I really like BFP module, but i don't like playtest... not because i don't like playtest but... because there are sooo manyyyy scenarios that i want to play that i've no time to play a scenario two times. ;-) Only one year of ASL under my belt, maybe in the future i'll playtest something... when i've played the 100+ scenario that are in my "to play list".

That's may view as well. BFP though do not expect (or wish) you to keep playing the same scenario. They have so many playtesters on the books that you tend to just get to play any scenario once. Sometimes this is a shame. Some of them are really large though so it can take two sessions to play

Cheers

All these CGs you mention... Will these be HASLs in the conventional mold (new map & scenarios as well) or something else? (If you may say, of course)

New maps, CGs, geo scenarios, various and sundry other items. Can't speak to the counters yet...too soon...and again..no release dates suggested, or implied. So PLEASE don't send Chas emails asking for release dates....we won't print any of them until we're 100% satisfied that they are ready...

We're so cheesed off at ourselves for the errata in B&J that we're going to be extra extra meticulous in all our future releases. Our goal is to be as close to errata free as is humanly possible.

No worries, nagging emails ain't really my thing. I was just curious, y'all have done everything "a little different" so I just wondered what shape these things might take. :) FWIW, the Orsha/HS model for a HASL-type module is about ideal, IMO. Mix of geo scens, HASL scens and a CG plus the accoutrements. I can't see how that formula could be much improved, but feel free to prove me wrong!
