Hoping this will be a centralized place for future discussions on this topic. That way folks won't have to try and search through the main WWII ASL Rules/Errata section. Hoping mods will 'sticky' this up there in that section too. [Thanks to mods. for sticky placement.]

Thread should have been titled "Place for people to brag that they have received their copy of FW".
Nobody has been doing that.
This thread will be as useful as the VotG or Suicide Creek one.
I applaud Justiciar's initiative.

Question about ASL 204 Human Bullets:
  1. VC references SSR 6. Since there is not SSR 6 I'm assuming this is SSR 5

In reading this rule, when the CVPA are the DEFENDER and night do they get Dummy counters as per E1.2 and then plus an additional dummy counters based on the No. of SE per W7.96?

So, even with the Japanese it is confusing.

So is it 1x the No. of SE or 2x?

Never quite caught that before.

I believe it is x 1.
W7.96 is just saying at night the CPVA (like the Japanese) will always get 25% HIP. AND THEN if the Scenario Defender they then get "?" at the rate of 1 per S-E in the entire O-B. The lines in W7.96 about the 'rate' are just a restatement of how "?" are allotted to a Scen. Def per E1.2, saving one the trouble of having to thumb across to Chap E.
{Disclaimer: Klas will correct me if I am wrong.}

When an AFV has infinite APCR, can it - if not otherwise prohibited - still fire AP ammunition?

Unless there is something in the Vehicle Note saying otherwise, I don't see why not.

C2.21:
"...A Caliber Size that is neither underscored nor overscored means it can fire both AP and HE..."

The NKPA T-34/85 counters are marked with A5⁴/6⁵ while the KPA vehicle listing table says under ammo, A6. Which is correct? Similarly for other NKPA AFV & guns.

I noticed that too. That's a lot of ammo to be carrying unlimited amounts of, then WP6 on top of that, too.

On the other hand, you will voluntarily limit your use of regular AP if you have the racks full of more effective APCR, no?
So the question of unlimited AP (which is the case by the rules) is more or less academic in practice.

It depends upon the range. At longer ranges AP is more effective. Also there is a TH penalty for APCR/APDS at longer ranges.

No. At ranges typical of Korea, AP would be the preferred round.

APCR, no? But really, in Korea HE will typically be the round of choice. Tank vs. tank battles in Korea were rare.
APCR no. AFV. HE MMC. PITA? QC? NC.

Per Stephen Zaloga, in tank engagements in Korea, US tanks fired 168 rounds of AP (APC), 94 rounds of APCR (HVAP), 64 rounds of HE, and 6 rounds of WP.
