My personal favorite of those is To Hell and Back. Followed closely by Sgt. York. All are good ol' fashioned American movies! :thumb:

Good stuff, buddy! Don't forget the Tour of Duty, and Combat! series in DVD, unless you already have them. I probably watched To Hell and Back about 8 times! Enjoy them, my friend!

I'll have to post my full titles list later, but Hamburger hill was a good one. And don't forget the Battle of Britain.

In Which We Serve

In Which We Serve, with Noel Coward is a great war movie about the battle of the Atlantic. It was the first movie directed by David Lean (together with Noel Coward). Lean directed Bridge on the River Kwai, Lawrence of Arabia, and Dr. Zhivago among others.

It is about a British Destroyer.

So is Stalag 15 a serious movie... because there is a Stalag 17 thats a serious movie with 2 heavy comic reliefs.
