Hi all,

I have a situation where I have an enemy unit has a fire action - it only has one target has three hinderances and the target is in a stone building giving a total IFT modifier of +6 the unit firing is a 4-6-7 so at long range this is a 4 (+6) shot, this means that even rolling double 1 there can be no effect - should I consider this as a non target and change the units action to Move as per footnote 3 (the unit is in advance mode) or do I take the shot that cannot yeild a result?

What do others do in this situation - if this was a face to face game this shot would not be taken

Yes, that's the right way to play it. The definition of "Target" (SASL Terms & Definitions) is a unit that can be affected without a CH, so in this case, that is not a Target and A2's footnote 3 applies.
