Hi all!

Learning the paradrops rules, and I don´t know how it works:

9.43 FINAL FIRE: After all landing DR have been resolved, paratroops are subject to Final Fire using normal LOS and fire rules vs ground targets.

Are the paratroopers subject to FFNAM/FFMO?
Do they get the TEM of Shellholes?

I can´t find the answers. Thank you in advance

No FFNAM/FFMO during DFPh.
They receive Shellhole TEM because this isn't the MPh.

Paradrops is not the most used part of the rules. 😉

Not so sure now, Robin. I took a look at the ASOP, and its on step 3.43A, at the end of its movement phase...

They can land on a Shellhole with enemy units there, and then you have to TPBF inmediately... I mean, the paratrooper drift, the defender DFF on it (only can once), the paratrooper breaks, can no change location during landing, and lands on top of a defender on shellholes (or the conditional TEM of grain in DB153 green apples scenario...). The defender must TPBF inmediately, and even if it doesn´t land on top, it can final fire the end of the movement phase of that paratrooper.

How will be done that TPBF/final fire?

By the way... Can LMG fire on aerial paratroopers? (I think they can´t... that´s weird...I saw propaganda videos at Arhem and they shoot at paratroopers....)

That happens when you want to learn new rules....o_O

Edit: I took a look at Journal 2 and it says its on DFPhase....

I only meant that you don't see tons of scenarios with paradrops.
That the mechanics appear in the ASOP is due to an aim of completeness and says nothing of the frequency of their use - unless one applies paradrop rules in scenarios without paradrops of course.

If DB153 Green Apples is too big a bite for you to chew, why don't you try AP67 Cherry Ripe? ;)
