Ever think those snakes were wasted on a Tank Crew MC, it is a travesty, an injustice they need a HOB roll!

CE AFV heat of battle, roll DR:
DR Effect
2 Tank gets Gyro capability - no Gyro just the ability
3-6 Extra movement point
7 Armor LDR on leader creation dr (nationality modifiers do not count)
8-11 -1 on all TH attempts
12 bathroom break abandon AFV (salmonella hits crew)

I hate wasting snakes on useless events. Just saying....

Along the lines of some of the mentioned OBA SSRs, I played one recently that SSR'd that a '6' on a Radio Repair attempt would not result in its removal. I liked that. If there is anything more frustrating than a chit pile that yields no OBA, it is a radio that malfs then Xs; especially before you even get to the draw pile stage.

I also like the SSRs that reveal HIP Fortifications according to Chapter E x.xx (Night, NRBH), rather than the traditional Chapter A method. It seems more realistic to me, and I think it should have been the initial, default way of treating their discovery in the rules.

WO13 All the Stops SSR 5 extremely simple "progressing FFE", where a Harassing Fire FFE moves three hexes in front of the Russians : no LOS, no Radio contact, no Battery access.
Very clean cut and efficient.

Hmmm... wonder if I should use that idea again if the account calls for such....
