EVE Coming to TV?

While I expect the graphic novel to arrive as promised (free if you get it digitally? I don't think this is going to be high quality), I don't expect to ever see an actual TV series. Don't get me wrong: I would LOVE to see a faithful TV series based on the game. But making that a reality would be an expensive and daring undertaking - really, something on the lines of Game of Thrones. Unless Kary Antholis is an EVE fanatic, I don't see this coming about.

How far are you in talks for the show? Have you started work on a pilot?

We’re basically in what’s called development. So we’re working with Baltasar and his writer team, who are very talented and have done a raft of TV series over the years, and some great drama. We’ve actually been working with them on the storylines, concepts, and stage setting for what we’ll ultimately bring to television. But we’re not talking now about any timelines or giving any indication of exactly when this might be coming.

Exactly....

I'm still waiting for that Stalker TV series....


However, I would say that this would be an ideal project for either Netflix or Amazon TV.
