Comrade Stalin also ordered his forces to liberate the poor oppressed people of Finland
August 5th, 1939
Warsaw fell after heavy fighting, the brave polish forces honorable surrendered to superiour forces after inflicting horrendos losses upon the invader.
The Shah mobilizes his forces to resist the liberation of Persia, comrade Stalin calls this the futile and desperate actions of a doomed regime.
The Red Army advances into Finland, some finish divisions were surrounded and destroyed

northern Finland is liberated, heroic soviet forces charge the Mannerheim Line.

Operation Weserübung, german forces occupy Oslo.
Red Army approaches Helsinki:Scandinavians and France sends troops to finland to prevent their liberation1
Axis declares war on Yugoslavia, Romania and Bulgaria joins the Axis.
Finnish guerilla forces sprung up to cut of the supply lines of the heroic Red Army.

Yugoslavia is still resisting the axis invaders, large parts of the yugoslavia army is massed in Belgrade to protect the capital.
Despite continuous attacks the soviet advance on stubborn finish troops beefed up by allied aid has bogged down.

Axis troops pour into Greece, Hungary joins the Axis.
Allied attacks on finish troops continue but despite dreadful losses very few progress is made.

French troops were shipped to Greece to help the greek to defend their home country.
British forces prepare their defences east of El Alamein but are suprised by axis landings in 'The Levant' which was left by french forces to shore up their home defences.

emergency british reinforcements were shipped to Tel Aviv to delay the axis troops until Ethiopia is liberated and additional british forces can be shipped to Egypt.
Allies build strong defences in Greece, we are confident to hold out.
Soviet troops advance again and attack the finish harbor town Turku.
December 2nd, 1939
British forces had to abandon their defence position at Tel Aviv and set up new defences at El Arish.
German forces test the greek defences and the Red Army in Finland bogs down again.

German attacks in south France appear stuck. German Forces attack the Netherlands.
The soviets have massed their newly arrived tank corps with fresh from the production line T-34s and in a surprise attack break through finish defence lines and reserve corps, advance 100km and occupie Helsinki! Finland surrenders!

German forces went through the Ardennes only to find well dug in french defenders at the french border, the southern attack into France is going very slow, french troops are able to regroup and prepare new defence lines.
French forces are leaving Greece to defend their homeland and greek troops are left facing Rumanian and Hungarian troops.
British forces in SA still holding their line.

The east front in South Africa is under heavy preassure and british forces are pushed back but with the help of fresh reinforcements are able to establish a new defence line.
Greek forces had to retreat but are still holding.
Axis forces breached the southern front in France at Nice and advance several hundred kilometers into southern France.
at the northern front french and british forces were able to hold their ground and only two hexes were lost.
May 19th-26th, 1940
Allied forces take advantage of the axis reorganization phasis and counterattack. Axis forces in South Africa are pushed back to El Arish, In north France all lost french territory is recaptured, in south France the front line is straighten.
June 2nd, 1940
British forces recapture El Arish and dig in again, the french north front is stabilized but the south front is slowly falling apart.
June 16th, 1940
Romanian and Hungarian forces continue their attack in Greece and are after a long stalemate able to capter new ground, the greece forces are in disarray but not defeated.
The french south front is slowly retreating, the nummerical axis superiority here is making this progress extremely difficult. The north front is pretty stable, just two hexes were lost again.

Forward axis elements are just 250km away from Paris (10 hexes) while fighting in the alps continue.
French forces attack a surrounded axis panzer corps in Lyon but are unable to defeat it.
Most forces in the south are probably lost but they have to continue their fight to allow the newly deployed ReOrg forces to dig in and consume reinforcements. This wont be easy as my rifle replacement pool is already completely empty.
The french north front is still stable.

my southern forces are virtually destroyed but my northern forces were able to gain strength and build a strong defence circle around Paris.
August 18th, 1940
Paris is now encircled by axis forces who closed in on Paris 75km from the west and 100-150km from the east and south.
September 1th, 1940
My western and southern front is now set up just 2 hexes away from paris while my eastern front is still 4 hexes away. My strategy is to allow this caldron to collaps as slowly as possible with fanaticals resistance in the west and south and slow retreats in the east to free some forces as tactical reinforcements.
