Getting ahead of myself a bit but scenario thoughts start at the same time as the map.

As for engineers:
1. Can they lay mines?
2. Can they lay wire?


Big question..
Is it possible to have the concept of a "HOLE" with associated attributes of such generated while in play?

Mines can be deployed during game play by a unit with the minelayer attribute. Wire cannot.

There is no way to make a hole appear during gameplay.
