Very interesting indeed. The Republican Party in America is so two-left shoe, they fail to appreciate the political capacity of media stars like Eminem. He might be annoying and certainly not make what older folk calls music. However, the bottom line is he is popular with young people (and in your case piero1971) the more experienced young . He can connect with them. He likely did more to impress American voters between 18-25 yrs old in five minutes than Bush and Kerry did in all their speeches and debates combined.

Democrats are more respectful of the power of media stars on young voters.

As for Eninem's comments, while I am not a fan, I do admit he is rather a talented public speaker. Basically calling Bush a Weapon of Mass Destruction was an explosive statement not easily forgotten.

I fell out of love with rap back in high school. As for Hollywood, I really don't pay much attention to it. However, it has political power.
