Awesome, enjoy!
BTW the sheer number of replacements gives an idea of how much work went into publishing the e version of the rulebook.
I know I wouldn't want to create and proofread that many links !

For any MMP folks listening...here is a small errata in the eASLRB:

A11.12 has two wrongly hyphenated words, “mul-tiple” (first line) and “at-tacked” (last line).

There is an email address in the file for reporting things, IIRC. It also helps if you state which version of the file it concerns.

Thanks for the info. I was reading v1.04. I went to look at v1.05 before I emailed MMP and the text formatting has changed...so the hyphenated words are properly split between lines. So...case solved! If you are OCD, you need to upgrade to v1.05. o_O

I found a solution, and it's confirmed working for others, when inherit zoom isn't working for them.
You need to use a text editor or a hex editor for this. Not a PDF editor.
Make a copy of your eASLRB "inherit zoom" copy.
Now search and replace every instance of /Fit with /XYZ
there are over 20,000 replacements to be done so it might take a while.
... and save the file.

I've had reports of Notepad++ working for this.

Those of us who use command line/unix stuff, will prefer
sed -i 's/\/Fit/\/XYZ/g' eASLRB_v1.05-INHERIT_ZOOM.pdf

or if you're editing in vi
:%s/\/Fit/\/XYZ/g

cheers
works like a champ. I used Notepad++.
Would it be that hard to post a version of PDF with this edit I think most people would prefer?
I'm not going to pay for a fancy PDF reader (which often have monthly subscription fees) just so I can configure auto-zoom on links.

Why would you pay for any PDF reader, ever? Not even Adobe makes you do that.

It's only PDF editors that are (usually) not free. (And there are plenty of free workarounds for that, depending on what sort of editing you actually want to do.)

Hello: I am looking at the sample admittedly, but it seems that items are not linked? Thanks.

@GerryM there are links in the eASLRB. For instance, on page A1 of the product (not the sample) clicking on "Personnel Counters" takes you that section on page A2.

Thanks Scott. Is it true also for stuff like the first para A.1 Dice where there is an item 5.132? So I assume 5.132 is clickable.

Same reason why you pay for any piece of software when there are non-paying alternatives: for better functionality, of better ergonomy, or (occasionally) better guarantees.

OK, to be honest, sometimes it's just because the vendor is good at marketing :)

I wasn't talking about "any piece of software". Obviously there's lots of miscellaneous software out there that is worth spending money to get, for a whole bunch of reasons. I was talking about PDF Readers. There's no reason to pay for any PDF Reader; there are a lot of them, and I don't think any of them charge anything to use them just for reading PDFs. They only start charging you if you're looking for more functionality than that.

A user can use a browser to open a PDF. Chrome works ... but not as well as a PDF reader.
