My question is: Is there any rule/errata that allows Searching to reveal non-minefield fortifications at night?
E1.16 says fortifications are revealed at night by: TEM use, friendly unit enters/exits in enemy LOS, or enemy entering its Location. They are not discovered by Searching.
The Searching (A12.152) rules don't address fortification (except for minefields) because fortifications are normally revealed as soon as they are in enemy LOS.
Since at night fortifications are not revealed simply by virtue of enemy LOS, it seems that Searching should reveal non-minefield fortifications too, but I can't find such a revision to Searching. Probably doesn't exist, hmm?
Thanks & roll low,
Mark
