Double reduction?

A full squad is broken in the PFPh. Same squad is fired on again in the APh, resulting in a MC. DR of 12 results in a failed MC. A routed unit that fails another MC suffers casualty reduction and is reduced to a half squad. A MC DR of 12 also results in a casualty reduction. Is the half squad now eliminated?
We did eliminate the hs.

Yes the squad is completely Eliminated. BTW I'm sure you meant AFPh, because nobody can fire in the APh. I'm just pointing this out before some smartalec gets on and concentrates on that instead of the original question. :)

have never had this happen, but reasoned it out & got it correct.
