If an AFV stops in a hex in bypass does this prevent enemy units from entering the hex unless it first passes PAATC ?

This is regardless of which hexside the AFV is facing.

This is essentially the same tactic as AFV AFV AFV AFV no infantry can get past the "AFV wall" until it passes a PAATC.

If this is possible ( correct) it allows for the re establishment of a defence etc etc from the time saved at the expense of any AFV loss. Decisions decisions !

Thank you,

A11.6:
"In order for a MMC to advance into a Location containing a manned unconcealed enemy AFV, it must first pass a PAATC ...."

Isn't there a condition that the moving unit needs a LOS to the vehicle in bypass to be so restricted?

There used to be - since A11.6 used to say "known enemy AFV" - but that was changed to "unconcealed" at one time.

If the afv is concealed then the detection rules come into play. You can move into the location but will get bounced back.
If the afv is unconcealed then line of sight to it are irrelevant and you cannot move into the location.

It flattened a few fences and made a lot of noise so I think the "game is up" forany concealment.
