ROUND 5

Title: KM-Diverse Tourney Round 5 “Battle in the Rampa Valley” (CMAK)
Type: Meeting Engagement with attack and defend.
Date: October 1944
Location: Italy- a mountain valley south of Bologna.
Region: Combined
Terrain: Rural/Urban
Weather: Dry, Warm, Clear, Midday.
Wind: Breeze
Turns: 45
Size: Large (2480 x 1840)
Points: @ 9100 Ax 9500 Al TOTAL (Offense Force and Defense Force)
Designed for: PBEM only
Designer: Palantir
Notes: Each force, defensive & offensive has its own setup area.

Situation:
A recent push by infantry from both armies in the Italian mountains has lead to a stalemate with opposing forces battling some 40km south of Bologna over the city of Lagaro in the Rampa Valley along a key highway, #325. The only way to break the deadlock and gain control of the vital route is with another Infantry offensive through the valley, this time supported by armor.

As this may be my final CM scenario I want to thank you guys for having enough faith in me to provide you with a fun tourney & quailty scenarios: and in your committing your free time & energy to it.
:salute:

So, if I may ask, are you planning to move on to PCO or cm:BN?

Are you playing CMx1 at all, currently, yourself?

I haven't played a game in some months and have no plans to get CM:N right now but I may be getting PCO.

Will be getting Round 5 out soon!

The file has been sent to the Allied players- Good luck to everyone!

Let me know who's still in besides the top 3 matches:

4. Redwolf (Out) vs. Leto (IN)
5. Mangus2000 (IN) vs JDSU (IN)

KG_Sspoom standby ?

Cornolio and I have exchanged files and are now underway; looks like fun.

One turn in, and then ground to a halt, completely my fault. It's going to take some enthusiasm to plotting in the early going - I bought a new computer, so my priority has been moving files, and the CMBN demo and release has been a distraction among some other projects. I hope to get back on track this weekend, which is a 3-day weekend in Canada.

I'm used to playing monster battles - or did so years ago. My favorites were MEs at 5k to 10k points. The big difference being that in the ME setup one starts at one end and that's much easier to deal with then being dropped into a hornets nest.
