I sent an email to jdsu and no reply yet. It's a long weekend so no panic, but wanted to make sure there were no communications foul-ups.

Get right on that for me will you Mike! :p
Fine, fine...

FYI- all scenarios when designed had strict restrictions on unit purchases to keep them "diverse" in feel & tactics from the other scenarios of this group. Which is why you don’t have that "X" unit you think you should have or had. Each sides units were purchased independently (not by me) based only on the map, tactical situation and restrictions presented.

You completed ROUND TWO already!!
Must have been a fast paced firefight.
We did two thirds of the emails on Monday from ~7am... On Tuesday afternoon, the turns were alot smaller and so the emails went quicker... All in all, a very fine battle with some dramatic reversals!

It didn't seem so at the time. I just assumed all setup zones would be exclusive of LOF. A painful lesson from here on out! I could say more but as you say - no more spoilers.

I have not even seen the map yet, so any chatter at this point is probably too much.

I think an argument could be made that this game in general is won or lost during setup (to a large degree) and that lack of attention to setup very often leads to some nasty surprises that then have to be compensated for, sucking focus from the main objectives...
