YA forum n00b

Hi, I've been directed here by one of my clanmates, Cosmique (don't know his nick here yet) from The Infidels.

I'm cut my teeth on 1/300th armour as a kid and got into boardgames, especially Star Fleet Battles (you know, the one you use the LARGE rulebook to seriously injure your opponent during arguments).

I also had a dabble with VGA planets and a fantasy empire PBeM game called Warmonger knocked up by another clanmate War.

Looking for decent PC-based games, solo and PBeMs.

I play Rise of Nations, Soldner, IL2 and a whole host of other games not too relevant here and run LAN parties as Wolfnet Gaming

Is there a short FAQ I can read as I haven't a clue what half of the games mentioned in the sub forums are?

Welcome! As far as your question.....try going directly to strategyzoneonline's main page, I *think* they might have a sections telling what the different games are. Or just post a thread in each of the subforums, or ask someone who is active there.
