A squad moves on board during the Movement phase onto a Concealed enemy
Turns out that the Concealed unit is a halfsquad and forces back the moving unit which must then return off board. Because of Exit 2.6 is the moving unit effectively deleted from play prohibited from ever returning

No because he never actually entered the board.

The unit has never entered on board even though it attempted to enter. A12.15 is invoked, the appropriate concealment is lost, and the MF are considered spent off board.

A12.15
A unit is set up concealed/HIP on a board edge hex of an entry area. An entering unit attempts to enter the location containing that concealed/HIP unit. Is the entering unit eliminated for having momentarily entered and then exited the board?
A. No.
Is the entering unit bounced back to it’s last off-board location and available for advance into the board, very possibly into the formerly concealed unit’s location?
A. Yes. {2}

And as JR thaught me: enter with a HS just to make him lose his concealment, and then, at the advance phase, advance to CC with that HS and another SQ under concealment: you get a -2 in the ambush. You will ambush him 42% of the time, and he will ambush you jus a 3% of the time
