I have zero idea. Right now I am struggling simply to restore the site to what it was. If I can't get more cooperation from my new host, I will either have to find a different host and re-migrate from original site, or manually re-add all the original missing images, if I can find them.

The issue with broken embedded links is not constant, but varies by review. Some work, some don't. There are problems with images on some pages. The images in the "Bloody Buron" review are all missing.

The site had broken links from the beginning, because as I was originally migrating articles from the original design to the second design, I could not know where the destinations of links would be for products I had not yet migrated. Most of those I subsequently fixed, but there were tons of links and apparently I didn't get all of them--and neither did the link check software.
That is not an issue I am concerned about at the moment. The missing images are what I am concerned about, because that is an issue with my current migration to a new host.
They are finally trying to re-migrate the site, starting today, so hopefully that will fix it. If not, they think it might be a weird permissions issue but they seemed to think they could fix that, too. Fingers crossed.

It is based on a database. But I am not concerned about a free hosting site. I just want the most hassle-free hosting. At least this has 24/7 tech support.

Okay, I got a notice from my host that they re-migrated and the missing images seemed to be there now. I looked at a number of pages that I knew had issues and the images were now back.
I wonder if folks here could do me a solid and look at other pages, especially product pages from the World of ASL section, and scout for pages with missing images. Also, if anybody posted about such a page upstream here, would you be willing to go check and see if it is "fixed"? (not broken links, only missing images). That way, if there are any issues, I can bring them to the attention of the host and we can try to resolve them. But hopefully it is okay now. Thank you!

Operation Merkur images are now visible.
West of Alamein is missing image 6 and the thumbnail for image 3 is missing with just a text link.

Not sure what's causing this, but since most images look unaffected it might be more a hick-up in the migration process than a train wreck. If it's just on a few pages, perhaps simply erasing and recreating the link could fix it?
