Okay, so my site is theoretically moved over and today I initiated the change to the new DNS servers. This will take around 24 hours to propagate.

Ideally, let's say by Sunday morning, if you go to the site, it should look just the way it did (but be in the new place). I could use your help in learning if, by Sunday morning, either 1) you go to www.desperationmorale.com but can't get to it, 2) you can get to it but there is content missing from the front page or the layout is somehow screwed up, or 3) there is some other apparent problem. Hopefully this will go smoothly but if it doesn't, this can help me address issues more quickly. Thank you.

3) there is some other apparent problem.
Something that I've noticed for some time now (so has nothing to do with the move), is that links from one review to another don't work. For example, I was just at your VotG page. At the bottom of the review are numerous other links (e.g., to several ASL Journals, etc). Clicking any link brings up the message: "Sorry, no content matched your criteria."
This may not be something that you care about, but this just seemed like an opportune time to bring this up.

Finally, thanks for your efforts. DM is my first "go to" for information about any ASL product.

I don't think the links from page to page have ever worked. At least most of them haven't.

I would need a specific example to trouble-shoot that. As far as I know, there are only about 10 broken links on the site.

Sure, the one I just clicked like two minutes ago from Berlin Red Vengeance that leads to LFT 13 magazine. Not to disparage your site, because I use/used it very frequently, but a lot of those links don't work.

Try any of the links to ASL Journals at the bottom of the Valor of the Guards review - I can attest that as of an hour or two ago, the links didn't work. Again, I love you site, but I've had this issue (i.e., links from one review to another not working) with numerous pages.

first, it looks like the site has propagated pretty well now. the migration mostly seems to be successful, but it can't find some images from the museum and from a few miscellaneous pages. I am working with my host's tech support to fix this.

Re the links: I have a broken-link checker that i use and for some reason it did not pick up on the examples you found. when the site is stabilized I will fix them. But anytime you find a broken internal link like that, please let me know and I will fix it. I have not had complaints about any large number of broken links until today.

Cool. No problem at all. I'm willing to just bang around the site without bugging you because your site is very easy to navigate and the search works great.

It may take a while for some to fully propagate. It depends on many things outside the sites control, such as the settings on your computer or the DNS server you use. I find google DNS to usually be the fastest. I believe their servers are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. YMMV.

I just checked the Journal links on the VotG reviews: those to Journals #8-10 give me a "no entry matches these criteria", and the one to Journal #11 leads me to a login page. Are your checks done with some kind of access rights that is different from those of the typical user?

FYI, my current website host, whom I have been with 22 years, is shutting down. So I am in the process of moving my site to a new host. This is likely to cause technical issues and other things, so don't be surprised if you see something hinky or nothing at all. Hopefully everything would eventually be solved.

That whole thing is also why the site's content update is being delayed...
Your site has adds enormous value to our hobby it is an incredible resource yet you do not appear to have ads so you are footing the entire bill. This does not seem quite right to me. I did not see a place on the site that allow users to help with the cost do you have a place where people can donate a few bucks to help with the cost?
