Hi,

If a squad deploys it loses concealment if in LOS of an enemy unit as per the concealment loss chart. Does the leader that directed the deployment also lose concealment? The Concealment Loss Chart does say that if the leader applies a DRM he loses concealment, but what if the leader has a '0' leadership factor?

The presence of the leader (in most instances) allows him to deploy ,so yes, he's using his "0" leadership modifier to affect an attempted deployment.

The presence language makes the leader sound passive. The second sentence resolves the ambiguity:

A1.31 - A leader may attempt to Deploy only one Good Order squad in that Location per RPh.
That makes it clear that the leader is performing an action in the rally phase and if he attempts deployment, that is his only action for the RPh.
