Deluxe board "a" defect?

Has anyone else seen what appears to be a scuff through the printing of board a? In my case hex aJ1 looks like it got scuffed in production, shipping or handling. Just curious.

There was a post, maybe here or FB that said the early assembled boxes rubed on the boards so MMP was going to add a sheet of paper on future boxes to prevent that. YMMV

Great, my string of poor luck with recent purchases continues ...

I just looked at the inside of the Deluxe box and it does look like there's marks from where the board was rubbing on it.

That is not a scuff mark, that is the intended art...that is where the pidgeon nests are.

Some of those thin spikes on the roof lines should help to keep the birds away this time around.
