My boss Gerald was telling me about a post appolyptic (sp) world type RPG called Deadlands? Was curious as if anyone has heard of this.

I've seen the stuff, it was good enough for me to give a damn about it at all
If one was wanting to do a game set in a dark setting, something of the "world gone to hell" sort, it would be a decent choice.

From what I could tell it's an entertaining setup with lots of theme/style (one example with the miniatures game, units are card/draw activated, a regular deck of cards and poker chips are used as part of this) though I'm not sure how far one could go with undead meets wild west, or how seriously a gaming group would take it. (I know the group I regularly pay with wouldn't.)
