Hi

Can a DC hero place DC vs AFv as per special DC Position DR (C7.346) - i.e. getting a TK roll? Or does he just detonate it on IFT?

A DC hero detonates a DC as if placed (with certain exceptions) [G1.424]. A placed DC can either be resolved on the IFT against all targets (and thus not affecting AFVs, although PRC may be attacked) or one AFV can be predesignated and a Position DR made [A23.5].

If the DC is placed vs the AFV, since the DC Hero "places" the DC in-hex, the DC always has the rear target facing DRM on the Position DR in addition to any others.
