Hey folks,
A very quick AAR for DB130 Tigers and Flames. In short, had a blast.
I played against a rusty Jim Povey so I thought I had a chance. Jim as the defending Germans and myself the attacking Russians. I made pretty quick work of the blocking force and was in the village in good time. But, my OT-34s started some Flames which became Blazes in my backfield in the village so I had a hard time setting up for my final assault.
I got 2 Human Waves ready for Russian 7 (last 1/2 turn) and both got off but I got shot up enough that my odds for CC were minimal (needed 5s) and did not roll well enough to pull it off. I had 10 of the required 12 buildings. I could have been a little more aggressive with a some tanks I had left to VBM freeze and not doing that didn't pay off. Still, I very much enjoyed the game and think this is a great scenario. I know it got some playings at Nor'easter XXI but I don't know the final results. Either way, give it a shot if you get the chance.
