Just learned of the passing of long time ASL player Darrell Wright. Much too young for such a fine person.
This post is from Darrell's father, Bob Wright (Copied from FaceBook):
This is to let all of Darrell's many friends know that he died on Friday, May 18th, while on a trip for work in Baltimore, Maryland. He was 55. An autopsy was performed, but there is currently no reason to believe that his death was for other than "natural causes." The results of that autopsy will not be available for a while yet. Plans for a service for Darrell, to take place in Raleigh, are in process. In lieu of flowers, we feel Darrell would prefer a memorial sent to one of his favorite charities: Chesapeake Bay Foundation, ASPCA, or Doctors Without Borders.
He was, without a doubt, the gentlest and sweetest individual one could know, and he will be sorely missed by his family and by everyone who had the good fortune to know him.
