I don't know about upgrading the sh*t... I mean what tactical advantage would having diarrhoea give you in a fight? (unless you crapped in their faces, but that would be kinda disgusting :vom: ).

On a more serious note, it would be almost essential to have an upgrade system so that you could increase your reaction time and running speed, and I like the idea about having a horse that can also be upgraded. There should also be a money/credits system so that you can buy guns, armour and clothing (so that you can customise your apperance).

I might...

I've never used it myself, but it lets you make a sprite-based RPG. You can add most of the artwork, story, content, etc. in but it gives you the base, so you don't have to do a lot of boring coding.

rpg maker looks cool. but do we want it with little characters (traditional rpg) or do you want it done by flash (it'll be harder) but we can create our own style of battles to make it more duel like

Well, what programs have we got and what are we experienced in.
Ive downloaded the rpg maker trial now, see if i can get the full version :up:
I have Macromedia studio 8 and photoshop. not experienced with flash but i am in photoshop, so i guess i fit in the designing category .

I have no experience in flash. But some in the sprite making stuff Which one?

rpg maker wont start for me. I keep re-installing it and it gives me the same message about it not being able to find rgss102e.dll

i'll get some characters drawn out. Not the main character though, just some bad guys.
Will there be any monsters or anything??

Hmmm I dunno if we both do manga/anime style it cant go wrong really. And i think only letting one person do it will kinda be real harsh on the other
