Just picked up ASL and I'm really excited to give it a go. I was originally going to stick to Combat Commander: Europe (and may still with my group. They were not impressed with the ASL rulebook). But a certain anime convinced me that I needed to ride around in tanks that can drift at high speeds around the battlefield. I grabbed a copy of BV and the ASL Rulebook... and a bunch of other products... and started getting into things. I've "played" 2 solo games of Guards Counterattack and 1 game of Fighting Withdrawal and I'm in love with this system. I'm hoping to get on VASL soon, but the only computer I have access to at the moment is my work computer which doesn't allow me to install anything.
