DaE - Can the Shermans do anyhting against the Panthers?

Okay part of DaE is how to use artillery. As I learned in FB a non-motion AFV caught in a nice FFE should really move ASAP. So far the Germans have lost an AFV everytime the FFE lands on them so smoke em' when you got em' and then FFE them. If they want to stay put then so be it. Some times it is better to let the infantry advance before you move the armor. Keep em in your back pocket until you need em I always say.
