The next one is nasty. Looks US. Assuming US, the chassis layout (6x6 or 6x4) reminds me of the M8 AC, but front engined. So ... I'll have to check the multitude of US 6 wheel chassis, damn! With only that view angle it looks like it could have plenty of space at the back and act as an APC or armoured supply vehicle.

One of the 2 designs by Baker Manufacturing Company, neither the 4 WD or 8 WD designs were completed, though tests were done with one of the intended suspension elements. It was intended to jump over obstacles or gaps. What happens, if in the heat of combat, you miscalculated?

One of those, "Nice idea, but what were they smoking at the time.".

Maybe they had watched the pre-war newsreels of BT-2s jumping the gaps a bit too often.
